Carol Seto, RD

Carol Seto is a Registered Dietitian who has owned and operated a successful practice in Toronto since 2001. Carol has extensive clinical experience in helping her clients to manage their diabetes, cardiovascular health, weight and complex chronic disease issues through nutrition assessment, diagnosis and intervention.
It is estimated that 1 out of 4 visits to primary care physicians can be attributed to nutrition-related issues. Research shows that for every $1 spent on nutrition counselling, health outcomes and costs are significantly improved by reducing medication use, hospitalizations and freeing up physician time to attend to other medical issues.
Carol provides nutrition support where and when clients need it, in-person and virtually on-line.
Customized meal plans are at the heart of her designs which help her client’s reach their health goals in way that fits their lifestyle, work demands and personal goals. She helps her clients identify where they are in their health journey, works with them to determine a healthier path through food, exercise and mindfulness and provides them with the tools for success for meaningful change.
Carol consults to private industries, indigenous organizations, the non-profit sector, and provincial and federal government agencies to help them develop, plan and implement health programs to support positive health outcomes.
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Carol holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Specialist in Nutrition from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. She completed her post-graduate clinical experience at Sunnybrook Hospital and is a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario and Dietitians of Canada.
